We have several options for a place to rest your head.
The first is the funnest! The wedding is on 22 acres of land, so Eric and Madeline would like those who are willing and able to stay and camp with them on the property after the formal party is over. This will ensure plenty of time for proper celebration, a bonfire, and making full use of the bouncy house. We know many of you will be coming in from out of town, so we will be making arrangements for tent and sleeping bag rental at very little cost to you. Please indicate on the RSVP form if you are planning to camp and need to get in on the rental action. We will contact you with the logistics. If you are coming from around Texas and have extra camping equipment that could be shared for the greater good, we would truly appreciate it. Please indicate on the RSVP form if you have camping setups to spare.
As accommodations in a small town like Columbus are pretty slim, the cleanest, most convenient hotel where we could book a block of rooms is the charming La Quinta Inn. Guests must make their own reservations by calling 1-866-527-1498 M-F 7:00am – 7:00 pm or Saturday 9:00am – 2:00pm (CST) and referring to confirmation code 6203GRQGBS. Reservations include breakfast and internet. The bride and groom will run a bus for guests from the La Quinta to the Fendley’s land before the wedding and back to the La Quinta as the party is winding down, so no need to drive.
